Here at A1 German Car Specialists in Stevenage, we supply and stock hundreds of tyres from tyre suppliers such as Pirelli, Continental, Yokohama, Michelin, Dunlop, Falken, Goodyear and Bridgestone. We stock a full range of car, SUV and van tyres, from budget to premium brands and including high-performance tyres, with prices to suit every pocket.
Tyres for Every Type of Vehicle
In addition to standard road tyres, A1 also supplies and fits track tyres, winter tyres and speciality tyres. We can supply and install tyres on most makes and models of cars, including high-end supercars, as well as vans and motorhomes/caravans.
Check Stock and Availability
We don’t sell tyres online. Simply call our team on 01438 746046 to check stock and availability for your vehicle and tyre size, and we will arrange fitting at our workshop on Cavendish Road, off Gunnels Wood Road.
When your car is in for its MOT, we check it over before the test and pre-warn you of any potential problems, such as tyres nearing their legal limit. Between visits, check your tyres regularly for correct pressure, tread condition and any lumps, tears or punctures.
Customer-Supplied Tyres
We do not fit tyres supplied by customers. This policy is based on two considerations: safety, as we want to be sure of the integrity of every tyre we fit, and warranty support, as it ensures clear responsibility if there is ever a problem with the product or service.
Make Your Tyres Last with Wheel Alignment
Improper alignment is a major cause of premature tyre wear, and a properly aligned vehicle can add thousands of miles to tyre life. Our dedicated alignment bay is fitted with Hunter equipment that can align all four wheels or just the front wheels, and our machines produce before and after printouts so you can see exactly which adjustments were made.
