Steve and the team at A1 BMW were incredibly helpful and understanding when I had a big problem with my BMW 535D. They kept me informed throughout the whole process with feedback via email and phone, and, unusually for a garage, documented pictures of the repair process step by step and gave me great advice afterwards. They never pressured me into having work done that I did not wish to be carried out, and made me feel extremely welcome. I will certainly use them again in the future. 5 Stars.

Had a stuttering/power issue on my F30 335D. Booked a diagnostic for the following day. Dropped my car off at 8 am. Fault diagnosed by 10 am and fixed by 3 pm. Steve provided updates throughout. Brilliant service. Will be back in the future.

I drove my friend here because her car had broken down on A1 and was taken there for fixing (no BMW for me, sadly). She said they were extremely helpful and loved their jobs. They were kind enough to stay open late if we were delayed on the motorway getting to them. The car had been fixed without delay. She paid up, and we headed north again in convoy.

My BMW 118D F20 broke down and had a drivetrain issue. Rang these guys up straight away and spoke to Steve. I brought the car in the next morning to them which they then done a full diagnostics and found an issue with the EGR and inlet manifold. They ordered the parts and fixed the problem the following day. Car now runs beautifully. Will recommend to others with German cars they know their stuff and are very knowledgeable. Brilliant work guys thanks.

First visit to A1BN. Got referred to Steve and his team and what a great job they’ve done on my classic E39 M5... resolved a stuck rear door and undertook a detailed assessment of the car and recommended all the suspension and brake components be changed... actual price came in a lot less than what was quoted and car feels like new. All parts are BMW OEM too... with the M5 parts being hard to source, this wasn’t an issue for Steve. Great job guys.

Came here for walnut blasting and plugs/coils. Location is close to Stevenage train station (10-15m walk). The team are very friendly and knowledgeable. Price is competitive, and they are fully transparent, sending you photos and videos as they do the work, etc. Will be coming back for all BMW work.
