Absolutely brilliant service — diagnosed and fixed in hours what others couldn’t solve in months. I’ve had my 2011 530d since February 2025 and spent the last four months trying to resolve a frustrating vibration coming from the rear of the car. It had been taken to three different garages, each keeping it for several days, but none could get to the bottom of it. Then I brought it here. Within two hours, the issue was identified, I was given a clear cost breakdown, and the fix was completed the same day. Had a stuttering/power issue on my F30 335D. Booked a diagnostic for the following day. Dropped my car off at 8 am. Fault diagnosed by 10 am and fixed by 3 pm. Steve provided updates throughout. Brilliant service. Will be back in the future.

Brilliant service. Came in during the morning after my MOT failed due to corroded pipes, and Steve walked me through what each part needed, why it was needed, and how much it would cost. Was super polite and made me feel at ease. They managed to get all the work done, and I collected the car the same day! Cannot fault any of the service I received, from the welcome I got when I walked in, all the way to when the keys were handed back to me. Will definitely be enquiring if I need any work done in future.

This was the first time using A1, and I was a bit nervous, having suffered bad experiences elsewhere. It was convenient as I live locally, so I dropped the car off and walked home. I was messaged when the work was completed, and I walked back and picked the car up.
I found the customer interface was friendly and well organised. I liked how I could arrive nice and early and park the car safely with reduced risk of getting the paintwork scratched. I received useful reports as the job progressed.
I had ordered an oil change service, and I decided at the last minute to get my air-con looked at. This late decision caused no problems for them, and both jobs went well. The job was cheaper and much better than the VW dealer who failed with the air-con. A1 were much more polite than the main dealer, whose service manager was incredibly brusque. It was a good decision to ditch them and go with A1.

First visit to A1BN. Got referred to Steve and his team and what a great job they’ve done on my classic E39 M5... resolved a stuck rear door and undertook a detailed assessment of the car and recommended all the suspension and brake components be changed... actual price came in a lot less than what was quoted and car feels like new. All parts are BMW OEM too... with the M5 parts being hard to source, this wasn’t an issue for Steve. Great job guys.
