This was the first time using A1, and I was a bit nervous, having suffered bad experiences elsewhere. It was convenient as I live locally, so I dropped the car off and walked home. I was messaged when the work was completed, and I walked back and picked the car up.
I found the customer interface was friendly and well organised. I liked how I could arrive nice and early and park the car safely with reduced risk of getting the paintwork scratched. I received useful reports as the job progressed.
I had ordered an oil change service, and I decided at the last minute to get my air-con looked at. This late decision caused no problems for them, and both jobs went well. The job was cheaper and much better than the VW dealer who failed with the air-con. A1 were much more polite than the main dealer, whose service manager was incredibly brusque. It was a good decision to ditch them and go with A1.
